There’s nothing better than a delicious snack. Make it an organic one, and I’ll be happy for the rest of the day. Unfortunately, snacks are not the healthiest food source, but thankfully there are webshops that sell ethically made and somewhat more nutritious yummy goodies.
For example, Kazidomi which is one of my favorite e-shops. You’ll find all kinds of organic, sustainable, fair-trade stuff on it, from skincare to healthy food to baby products.
One of my all-time favorite snacks are potato chips and a glass of good wine. So, naturally, I couldn’t resist getting my hands on some classic potato chips, and a bottle of the French Oé rosé wine.
I got a bag of the Organic Classic Chips with Hibiscus from the Go Pure brand and, some Trafo Organic Olive Oil Chips. Both vegan, gluten-free and low in sugar.
And because life without chocolate and cookies is just horrible, I got me some of those, too. I bought the vegan Vivani 70% Dark Cranberry Chocolate, made from fair-trade Ecuadorean cacao and without the involvement of EU-agriculture.
As for the cookies, I got the gluten-free Organic Chocolate Hazelnut & Salt Cookies from the Belgian family-owned company, Generous. And some vegan and lactose-free Italian Biscuits with Lemon Zest, also from a Belgian family-owned company, Basta Sia Buono. All delicious!
I’m also a huge fan of hearty breakfasts, so I bought some yummy things for a sweet start of the day. I got the Caramelised Almonds & Pecans Granola, because I like my granola mixed with diverse and delicious goods. This product is vegan, low in sugar and high in fibers. It’s from the Belgian family-owned and female-founded company, Bamboo.
My sister loves chocolate spreads, but we don’t support Nutella. That’s why I was really happy to find the vegan, gluten- and lactose-free Organic Chocolate Hazelnut Spread from Rigoni di Asiago. It tastes great and is much better for you and the environment. I also got some Organic Plum Jam from the same brand. It’s very nice and sweet, and contains only these ingredients: plums 65%, apple juice, gelling agent: pectin.
There’s no such thing as too many snacks, so I got some more. Like the Lima Rice Cakes with Buckwheat, Dark Chocolate and Coconut; Eco Natur lactose-free Honey Waffles; and Rhythm vegan, gluten- and lactose-free Organic Chocolate & Hazelnut Cookies.
And last but not least, I got the Organic 7-Spice Indian Sauce from the French brand, Danival. It’s vegan, lactose-free, low in saturated fats, and oh so good.
I also bought the Erbology Organic Cold-Pressed Black Cumin Oil, which can help with certain health issues and generally boost your immune system.
If you have some healthy snack suggestions, I’ll be glad to get them. Hope you enjoyed the article. Till the next post!
