No make-up look is completely finished without a perfect mascara. Well, the latest one I’ve tried can’t exactly be called perfect, but it is a pretty damn good one. Especially because it actually does what it promises. You want Big Catwalk Lashes? Then big lashes is what you will get.
Let me start with what I love about this mascara. First of all, of course, the fact that it’s an organic product. It’s gluten- and lactose-free, NATRUE and Vegan certified. The mascara contains some ingredients from controlled organic cultivation and a couple of natural essential oils. Its active ingredient is organic Almond oil, which has a soothing effect and is therefore great for sensitive skin.
I also really like the subtle scent of the mascara and the tip of the brush which helps to cover the smaller eyelashes. The brush itself is pretty unique. It’s twisted structure supposedly holds more product and distributes it better. I did get quite a lot of product on my lashes from the first cover, but I’m not sure if it’s thanks to the brush or just because it’s a brand-new mascara.
As for the size of the brush. I’m not really crazy about it, but that’s really a personal issue. I don’t have big eyes, so this brush is clearly too big for me. Normally, I don’t have a problem with larger brushes, but this mascara has a pretty liquid texture. It’s great for the lashes, because they look instantly black and full. But you also have to be extra careful not to smudge it or the whole thing becomes just one big mess. Oh, and you also might want to wait with batting those new dropdead gorgeous lashes until this mascara dries completely.
Overall, I’d say there are more positive qualities to this product than negative ones, so I do recommend it. Especially if you have big eyes or you’re an advanced make-up user. Of course I’m not saying that you shouldn’t use it otherwise.
Let me know if you try it and have a lovely day!
